Started Beta Phase

The EnvsBot (Repo: https://git.envs.net/dan/envsbot) has now reached the BETA stage. The main framework is mostly stable, but there may still come up some bigger changes if needed/wanted.

We are building now mainly new plugins and extend the functionality. Of course there will be a lot more to do until the first major release, but we're making progress in a relatively fast pace. Things still haven't settled down, so it will still take some time until version 1.0.0.

Battle Testing

We've put the bot into our frequently used rooms early on to get feedback and find bugs in time. Of course there are surely bugs in the code (this is a never ending process), but we hope and are relatively sure that there are no major security bugs in it. If you find a security bug, please inform us via XMPP DM/MUC PMs in the XMPP room xmpp:test@conference.envs.net?join to creme or ~dan or write an email to dan@envs.net and don't put it in public until we get a chance to fix it.

So we're hoping to get to the first major release in the not-so-far future and hope things will turn out well. There are still a lot of things planned for the bot but we have to do them one after the other.
